Welcome to your Cape Cod vacation at Bluefish Bed & Breakfast where we support the concept of farm to chef and chef to table cooking.
Every morning our professional Chef & owner creates the best gourmet breakfast on Cape Cod. The menu always changes and is based on organic ingredients and the seasonality of local Cape Cod produce. Our focus is on fresh, locally grown, organic, whole food, and real ingredients. Some of our produce comes directly from our own organic garden, the rest including fruits, vegetables, eggs, cheeses, and breakfast meats, come from local farmers who have become friends. Combining these fresh ingredients with 25 years of experience in a kitchen always results in a scrumptious and beautiful breakfast.
A brief sample of our homemade breakfasts include: lobster benedict with handmade hollandaise, freshly sliced organic garden tomatoes and locally grown organic potato home fries; fruit stuffed crème brulee brioche French toast with organic hand whipped cream, caramelized nuts & pure maple syrup; Cape Cod Organic Farm pork sausage and farm vegetable crepes with a organic garden pesto cream; organic buckwheat buttermilk waffles topped with sautéed local fruit and organic hand whipped cream; garden vegetable and local grass fed cheese frittata served with a garden tomato cream and Pommes Anna.
We always offer freshly brewed, fair trade organic coffee and hand squeezed orange juice. All of our breakfasts are served on handmade Cape Cod pottery.
We open the dining room in our private living quarters on the first floor to our guests every morning at 8:15am. At that time guests are welcome to enjoy coffee/tea and a leisurely conversation around our communal dining table. Breakfast is served from 9:00 am to 10:00 am each morning. If you are leaving early to enjoy the day your “breakfast-to-go” can be prepared with advanced notice.
